The only real stress that a family trip gives though is generally the travelling time but the good news is excellent weather is frequently found in a variety of good hotspots around Europe without the need to have to spend a day or so travelling to and from your chosen holiday destination.
The Canary Islands have been attracting tourists from around the globe for decades and particularly those from European destinations, and the relatively short flight times to this group of islands make it ideal for travellers that are looking for a sun kissed destination, but do not necessarily want to spend 10 hours or more on their flight.
Lanzarote flights</a> are readily available so getting to the islands is relatively cheap. This means of course that you’ll have more money to spend whilst your here and Lanzarote airport transfers are nice and short too.
There can be cloudy days here as well but not often, and even then you can still burn from the sun’s rays, and if it does rain, you have only seconds to find shelter as little spots turn into huge blobs of rain in seconds.
Cycling is a very popular activity in Lanzarote which is hardly surprising given the weather. The island’s mountainous terrain makes it an ideal spot for cyclists looking for some arduous warm weather training conditions. You’ll also pick up a pretty good tan as well but do be careful as when cycling you can forget how hot the sun rays actually are.
Lanzarote car hire is easy to arrange and is affordable too.
Accommodation on the island is not restricted to the main resorts and not everyone is attracted by the lure of beautiful sun kissed beaches. So if sun, sea and sand are not your thing and you prefer to see the real Lanzarote, then a holiday in one of the rural villas may be more to your liking. Now comes the real dilemma though. Which resort will be best for me? this will depend on an number of scenarios, is it a family holiday? Do you prefer a villa or an apartment? Or do you want to eat out most nights? Either way each of the resorts has something to offer.
All of the resorts on the popular Canary Island of Lanzarote are excellent but none can match Playa Blanca for the quality of both its weather and its beaches. This fast growing holiday destination is located right at the southern foot of the island and enjoys a very favourable micro-climate as well as boasting the most spectacular selection of beaches on the island.
Playa Blanca Hotels are not that expensive to stay in (except for the luxury end) so its possible to let others take the strain leaving you with nothing to worry about apart from how you will spend your time here.
