London is one of the most multicultural places in the world. Its residents, ranging from Irish to African communities, shape this capital. With so many cheap London hotels to choose from it is easy to enjoy multicultural London on a first hand basis.

A popular destination during Chinese New Year is Chinatown, which is celebrated by an amalgamation of cultures that all enjoy the historic Chinese tradition in February. Approximately 80,000 Chinese people are currently living in London. Although London’s Chinese population is spread across the city, Chinatown remains its spiritual home and cultural focal point. There are loads of amazing authentic shops and restaurants, and it proves to be a massive tourist attraction.

Having an influence on the cultural scene in London does not neccesarily mean that you have to come from a distant continent. Various European communities also contribute towards the city’s identity. Although cultures in London are widespread there are many pockets in London that will serve a real slice of French, Spanish, Italian amongst other European cultures. The polticial problems of the 1970s brought lots of Latin Americans to London. As a result, London offers holidaymakers the vibrant culture of Latin America, particularly its music and dance culture.

It’s not difficult to find London hotels that are close the sights, and they have prices and styles that can accommodate anyones preferences. The West End is an ideal destination for tourists who are looking to experience as many cultures as possible during their visit, as it offers some of the most diverse culture in the city. On Tottenham Court Road you will find the Radisson Edwardian Grafton, which is home to a variety of cultures.

The city of London is one of a kind. It has up to eight million residents from a variety of backgrounds and is considered one of the biggest melting pots in the world. It’s one of the most visited European cities in the world, attracting 14.1 million tourists last year alone. With so many affordable London hotels available throughout the year, it’s no wonder this multicultural capital attracts holidaymakers.

So, if you’re looking to visit a city that is bursting with culture from all over the world then maybe you should visit London at some point in the near future.
