Bridal Hair Accessories your options

There are so many choices to make when it come to bridal accessories, so you might be still trying to choose what to wear in your wedding day hair. So Im going to review the advantages and disadvantages of certain bridal hair accessories.

Tiaras

Everyone knows what a bridal tiara looks like and youll find hundreds of thousands to choose from by using the search function in Google. When you think of accessorising your wedding dress chances are a bridal tiara is at the top of the list. I think a big plus point of picking a wedding tiara as your bridal hair accessory is the large amount of choice, however some brides decide that a bridal tiara isnt right for them and prefer an alternative. Also unlike some of the other bridal hair accessories youre not going to get the occasion to use your wedding tiara again after the big day.

Hair Pins

Hair pins make great bridal hair accessories; they come in a range of styles from simple solitary Swarovski crystals on a pin or grip to intricate patterns of crystals and pearls. An advantage of weddinghair pins or grips is that they help hold the structure of your bridal hair style, plus they can be worn again. On the minus side, you will need to wear your hair up to make use of them and often this will require you having a hair dresser who is able to do your hair on the day.

Headbands

The number of wedding headbands available are is growing everyday as an increasing number of brides are opting for this simple to wear bridal hair accessory. Their main advantage is that they work with hair being pinned up or left loose and can easily be slipped on to the head. However if you want your hair accessories to be a focus point in your bridal outfit then a headband isnt the right accessory for you.

Side Tiaras

Side tiaras are becoming more popular, mainly because they offer the ease of a hair band for placement but offer the focal point of a large hair pin or comb without the need to have your hair tied up. The only down side I can think of for this type of bridal hair accessory is that if you want a focal point at the front of your head, then a side tiara isnt for you.

Hair Vines

Hairvines have a softer more romantic look. Hair vines come in a range of sizes, widths and patterns; they can be placed along the side of the head, twisted into the hair, worn across the forehead, used as a bun wrap or a hair band. If Im honest I cant think of any disadvantages for hair vines, to me theyre fantastic.

My intention was to give you a brief intro into the various types of bridal hair accessories that are available. So I hope Ive been able to do that if not you can always contact me at Wedding And Gems for more advice.
